Mother’s day flowers are a lovely gesture but PLEASE (!!) try something different this year! As a Mum I would love to have breakfast in bed, delivered, or a perfect box of champagne chocolate truffles for only me to nibble with a glass of fizzy in the bath… But what if you want to send Mother’s Day flowers because they are beautiful to look at and you really want to brighten up Mummy’s day? An unusual, beautiful, possible perfect Mother’s Day present is a Lindt Chocolate Bouquet. All the beauty of a bunch of flowers, but instead of perishable blooms, there are yummy chocolate truffles waiting to be ‘picked’ one by one and devoured.

Stuck for Mother’s Day gift ideas this year? All budgets are catered to with our huge range of award winning foods, with fast next day delivery! Because we offer unique foods that aren’t available in your local supermarket, even a beautiful box of our Booja Booja champagne chocolates is enough sent on its own to make a perfect Mother’s day gift. Or you could select a couple jars of our Old Fashioned Sweets if your Mum has a sweet tooth.
Looking to spend a little bit more money? Fruit baskets range in price from £19.99 for the Fruit Lover’s Basket to £40.00 for the Exotic Fruit Basket. If your Mum would appreciate a healthier treat we suggest one of these. (Note to men- if your wife/Mum is trying to lose weight send fruit, not chocolate!)
What if your Mum is in hospital or a nursing home, and you want an alternative to flowers? I would recommend that you either send a Bite Size Fruit Basket, or the Tea Time Treats Gift Box. Or design your own gift- taking care not to choose fruits that need cut up (like a melon or pineapple) or lots of foods that will be ripe and need to be consumed all at once (like plums, grapes, cheese and smoked salmon).
What if you are still not sure, and these Mother’s Day gift ideas are overwhelming you? Just ring us, and ask for advice. We are only too happy to help.

Mother's Day Hamper
Don’t panic if you forgot! We’ve got you covered with our unique gifts and super quick delivery service. Next day delivery available on Mother’s Day baskets and hampers throughout the UK and Ireland. Mother’s Day 2011 is on Sunday April 3rd. If you want your Mum to receive her gift before Mothering Sunday place your order by 1pm on Friday the 1st of April.
Right, next question- if we can get the Mother’s Day gift delivered on time, is that going to cost a lot of money? The answer is no- weekday delivery is only £4.99. If you want it delivered on the Saturday that will cost a bit extra- £16.00. But if your Mum isn’t at home during the week what option have you got? Three options actually, you can have it delivered to her work address (what a great surprise!) or to a neighbours house, or even left at the local post office for her to collect at a time that suits her.
Next question- I thought hampers were a ‘posh’ and expensive gift, aren’t they? Definitely not- we offer a huge range of yummy foods so you can design your own bespoke Mother’s Day basket- this allows you to spend as little or as much as you would like and it also allows you to cater for your Mum’s taste. A piece of advice- if your budget is tight, select a fruit lover’s Basket (only £19.99) and add a box of chocolates or a pot of jam, or even a tube of shortbread biscuits to it. That way your Mum will receive a HUGE basket (lots of impact = lots of smiles) but there are also some treats inside for not too much money.
