First 4 Hampers offers a customer service driven gift delivery service.  If you can see any way in which this service can be improved upon, please let us know! Our buyer chooses the best foods available from throughout the UK and Ireland, with some of our antipasti coming from Italy.  We give priority to those foods whose criteria fit as below:

• To help our customers with dietary requirements we offer organic, vegetarian, vegan, biodynamic, gluten free, and dairy free options.
• In order to promote healthy living we aim to sell foods without harmful additives.
• We strive to offer as many fair trade products as possible.
• Our fresh fruit is GM free.
• We give preference to independent manufacturers who do not sell their goods to large multiples.
• Preferences are given to manufacturers who offer recyclable packaging.
• Our gift baskets and hampers use recyclable fillers and outers, and our aim is to have 100% of our packaging recyclable or reusable.

Most of all though…the food has to taste great- not good, because you can get ‘good’ in the supermarket. No matter what we sell, it has to be delicious.  Our gift delivery service allows you to select exactly which of these foods you want to send, what way you want them packaged, and when and where you want them delivered to addresses in the UK and Ireland.

I know it is still only February but the sun is shining and so thoughts turn to the neglected garden, and gardening gifts. Designed with my own Mother in mind, we have a fabulous gardening gift that has been created with practicality and luxury nicely balanced. This Deluxe Gardening Trug was £54.00 but is £44.00 for one week only.  A sturdy wooden gardening trug, very useful for all those weeds, flowers or fruits and vegetables, is the basis for this gift. Inside the trug you will find a gift box containing three full size metal gardening tools, beautifully decorated with a floral pattern.  Tied up in twine is a little bundle of eight herb markers- so that you can identify your thyme from your rosemary. Very practically, we have included TraidCraft fair trade gardening gloves, useful and well made.  As a post gardening treat we have also included the addictive Weleda ‘Skin Food’ which is quite possibly the best hand cream made. All of these lovely items are packed up in recyclable packaging, tied up with colourful raffia and twine, and packed in a protective, recyclable cardboard outer.
